Job Title: HR Administration Officer

LHR are proud to be partnered with a successful international manufacturing business. Our client is a world leader in their industry, working from a purpose built, state of the art location. They are now looking to recruit an experienced HR Administration Officer within their fast-paced HR team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role supports the HR function within recruitment, inductions, disciplinaries & grievances, attendance & performance management, and tracking and reporting key HR metrics to deliver detailed reports and ad hoc analysis. This role would suit candidates comfortable in an analytical focused environment. This is a full time role, working 7.30am – 4.30pm Mon-Thu & 7.30am – 12.30pm Fri. You will need to have flexibility to support the company’s shift patterns.
Key duties of the HR Administration Officer:
·Provide a generalist HR advisory service
·Working with the time and attendance system alongside payroll, setting up work periods and shift plans, processing clock reports, bonuses, overtime, and holiday & sickness
·Recruitment support including agency relationships, interviews, timesheets and reconciling invoices, and involvement in apprentice recruitment events
·New starter onboarding
·Handling maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave processes
·Arranging timetables for occupational health, pension meetings etc
·Provide management support including investigations, disciplinary meetings, grievance hearings, and minute taking
·Record, monitor and maintain all data for company benefits
·Support with specific HR projects
The successful HR Administration Officer:
·Strong HR experience, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing / engineering role
·CIPD level 5 is preferred but candidates qualified by experience will be considered
·Technically minded - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential for this role, you’ll be able to manipulate data and produce key reports
·Experience of time and attendance HR systems
·Excellent communication skills along with attention to detail
