Alliance Learning are delighted to be partnering with Bolton Community Practice who are currently recruiting for a Receptionist Apprentice to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to gain valuable experience in the workplace whilst working towards their Level 2 Customer Service qualification, which takes approximately 17 months to complete.
Receptionists are often the first point of contact for the patients at the practice and although full training is provided the ideal candidate must be a team player and feel confident with speaking to patients in a friendly and professional manner face to face and over the telephone whilst always maintaining confidentiality.
Hours and Location:
This is a full-time role which is 37.5 hours per week. The candidate will work on a Rota basis, between the hours of 8:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the main responsibilities for a Receptionist Apprentice are:
• Inputting details, referrals, and correspondence with word processing skills. • Handling customer appointments, referrals, and inquiries. • Summarising medical records. • Conducting surveys/audits and contributing to service improvements. • Maintaining order in the Reception and Waiting area. • Managing calls professionally. • Understanding medical terminology. • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • Safeguarding confidentiality of patient and staff information.
